A message from etika

We are currently experiencing what is noted as unprecedented times…

It is the first time for a number of generations across the world to experience ‘lockdowns’, quarantine, and a serious shortage of basic goods.

It’s also the first time that these generations are experiencing these with the bonus of social media, group chat platforms and video conversations & meetings to keep the social aspects of life running.

We know schools, parents and our dedicated front line heroes are working harder than ever to keep our world safe. Our hearts and thanks go out to you all at this very strange time and we look forward to being face to face again in the near future.

Stay safe.

etika bringing joy to Green Lane CofE Primary School Year 6 Leavers

The leavers hoodie means so much to a Year 6, signifying a big transition in their lives. So we knew we had to pull out all the stop when we found our shipment stuck somewhere on the seas between India & UK.

Thanks to our fabulous teams in India & the UK, alongside the Friends of School committee, we managed to door-drop the leavers’ hoodies to ensure they could still feel the sense of community Green lane School offers.

meeting the Bishop of Durham

We had a fantastic meeting with the Bishop of Durham, back in February, explaining what support we were looking to bring to schools in the UK.

He was highly supportive of our ’cause’ and put us in contact with his team when sadly the restrictive movement & quarantine requirements came in to force. We’re looking forward to getting back into planning with the Bishop and his team once the restrictions are lifted.

3% of sales are donated directly to UK schools to be used at the school’s discretion. We offer ‘wear the change’ workshops for pupils, staff and parent/carers

The shops might be shut but etici is still open!

Shop our range of ethically sourced colourful kids clothing available to buy online.

We don’t know about you, but despite the kids being off school our washing machines at team etika are still on, what feels like, a hundred times a day!

The weather has been fabulous so we’ve been encouraging our tribes to be outside and enjoying the weather, nature and getting dirty (all responsibly of course!).

But it means they are going through clothes like crazy, and growing at a rate of knots too!

With the high street shops shut, we’re grateful that we can still offer our gorgeous brights online and you can bag yourself 10% off your first order, with over £20 spend.

What’s not to love?

Get your kids kitted out in comfy, durable, high-quality tees, hoodies and our signature polo dress knowing that you are contributing to causes across the world, as well as at home.

etika is on a mission

Our mission is to offer every child in the UK the opportunity to wear an ethically sourced school uniform, which ‘gives back’ to UK schools in terms of finance and education and to communities in India to improve their standards of living.

When you buy from etika or etici, you are helping us make a change in the world that we are looking to drive within our industry and throughout the whole world; benefitting those who have less and impacting positively on our planet.
